Ken Yip-Chuck, CFP

Ken joined The Gill Planning Inc. in 1996 and had the privilege of working closely with Pat Gill a leader in the insurance industry. In 2008 Ken took over as principal and continues to work closely with his clients providing creative planning solutions.
Ken is a Certified Financial Planner who believes in the importance of goals-based planning. In order to better serve his business-owner clients he completed the Family Enterprise Advisor program in 2012, through the Sauder School of Business, UBC.
Ken believes in contributing time to support his community. He was a board member of the Catholic Family Services of Toronto for nine years, two as president of the board. Ken is currently a member of the Catholic Family Services of Toronto Foundation Board. Ken is also a former board member of the Whitby-Ajax Garden Project, a not-for-profit that provides fresh vegetables to local food banks.
Ken is blessed to be able to share his life with Ann, his wife of 29 years. Together they enjoy travelling, the beautiful outdoors and caring for their two dogs, Logan and Sassy.
Mike Petinarelis

Mike joined The Gill Planning Group Inc. in 1997. His previous experience in the financial services industry included senior roles with a number of banks and mutual fund companies in the GTA.
Mike enjoys giving back to his community. He has been a part of many charitable initiatives in his home town of Aurora such as Welcoming Arms, The Aurora Food Pantry and the Holiday Heroes Toy Drive. As an advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Mike ran several successful fundraisers for the charity and helped raise money and awareness for children living with Type-1 diabetes.
Mike’s biggest joy in his life is his family and he values the time he spends with his wife, Odelle, and his three children, Victoria, Alexia and Nicholas. As an avid sports fan, Mike enjoys coaching his kids’ hockey and soccer teams, year in and year out. Together, Mike and his family enjoy travelling and always look forward to their annual “family trip”.

Pat dedicated himself to remaining on the leading edge of his industry and supporting his clients with specialized and up-to-date expertise.
Pat was always recognized for high standards of excellence in the insurance industry as a four-time recipient of the National Quality Award, and eight-year member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table, an achievement attained by less than 5 percent of life insurance agents worldwide.
His dedication to excellence was reflected in his ongoing commitment to the insurance and financial services industry in general. He often served on industry focus groups in continuous pursuit of high ethical standards and performance excellence. Moreover, Pat’s dedication to his community, family, church and business was appreciated by his clients, friends and associates.
